If at all possible, avoid exposing your guitar to rapid temperature changes. If you have to take your guitar from a hot area into a cold are, or vice versa, let the guitar stay in its case to allow the temperature to change slowly. If you do not, the wood or finish may crack.
Think of it this way: if you don’t like the temperature of a room or space you’re in, your guitar won’t either.
