This week’s tip is simple and short.

It should be obvious, but when the rubber meets the road, it isn’t.

When you sit down to practice, you need to practice what is difficult FIRST (after warming up, of course).

You might have said “Duh” after reading that, but how often do you sit down with the intention of practicing and end up not really working on anything significant?

I’ve done that many, many times.

I don’t doubt you’ve done it, too.

This doesn’t mean you always have to work work work and have no fun.

But if you want to make real, significant progress, you need to be organized and tackle the things that are HARD, and make those things priority #1.
