Lead Guitar Training Week
6 days of super intense lead guitar training
September 11-16, 2023
Here’s just a sample of what you’ll learn at Lead Guitar Training Week:
-
6 days of comprehensive training only you can’t get anywhere else in Olympia
-
The tools you needs to totally transform your lead guitar playing
-
Massively improve your ability to confidently play lead guitar
-
Learn the most effective ways to immediately improve your lead playing
-
How excessive tension creates poor, sloppy playing (and how to fix it)
-
Discover creative ways to spice up your lines (without learning 100s of new scales)
-
Get targeted help for your specific problems
-
Learn how the greatest guitarists played their lead lines (and how to ethically “steal” from them)
-
Why the “secret” to playing great lead lines is not in the scales (hint: it’s in the harmony)
-
How to improve your speed without moving faster
-
Why accuracy is more important than moving fast when trying to play fast
-
A simple yet wildly effective method for eliminating excessive tension from your playing
-
How to keep your lead playing from sounding like scales
-
An easy way to move one scale around the neck and make it sound like a different scale (just move this one scale up 7 frets)
-
The one thing that sets great lead players apart from everyone else (no, it’s not playing fast)
-
How Jimi Hendrix made his lead playing sound “chunky”
-
How to get “unstuck” from scale shapes and patterns
-
Why your lead playing sucks (even though you can play fast)
-
How to make everyone jealous of your lead playing (even though you don’t play fast)
Who should attend?
If you’ve played guitar for more than 6 months (by the time September arrives) and you can play simple scales (even just one pentatonic pattern) this week of training is for you – assuming you want to play lead guitar, of course.
What’s the schedule?
Dates: September 11-16, 2023
Times: Monday thru Friday, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Saturday, 9am-2pm (with a lunch break)
Location: The Olympia School of Guitar
I can’t attend this year, when will it be offered again?
At this time, the plan is to offer Lead Guitar Training Week again in 2026, so if you skip this year, it won’t happen again for 3 whole years.
How many people can attend?
This event is limited to a very small number of people. The maximum I will allow to sign up is only 8, and it may even be fewer than that.
Events typically sell out quickly. It is not uncommon for an event like this to sell out in less than a couple of hours.
-
-
-
My guitar bootcamp sold out in less than 48 hours
-
The blues guitar course sold out in 37 minutes
-
My music theory course sold out in 11 minutes
-
-
Obviously, I don’t know how long it will take for this event to sell out, but I would not be surprised if it sold out very fast.
Why don’t you open this up to more people?
Primarily because if I allow as many people as possible, I will not be able to serve them well. A small group ensures I’ll be able to help each person at the event to my maximum ability.
How much is tuition?
Today only, tuition is $427. After today, tuition goes up to $727 and there will be no discounts offered after today. So, sign up today and you save $300.
Sorry, this event SOLD OUT in only 86 minutes.
