Four Hours of Intense Improvisation Training
At Improvisation Training Day you’ll learn the following:
- How to take the mystery out of improvisation
- How to develop creativity
- What great improvisors think about when playing (any why it’s what you should think about, too)
- How to ethically steal from other players
- Ways to think melodically (and make your improv sound 100x better)
- Why scales are NOT the most important part of improvisation
- The easiest way to begin improvising (even if you don’t know a single scale)
Who Should Attend Improvisation Training Day?
If you are able to play simple scales without trouble, you can attend.
- You do NOT need to have experience improvising.
- You do NOT have to be an advanced or even intermediately skilled player
- You do NOT have to have experience playing lead guitar (a little experience helps, but if you can play scales, you can begin to improvise.
You should NOT attend if:
- You cannot play a simple scale. That’s really the only qualification for this event. If you can play a scale without trouble, you can attend.
